TeamBlends vs single compounds — is a BPC-157 + TB-500 stack vial worth it?
Asked by PeptidePub Team · 11d ago
Combo vials ("Wolverine", GLOW, KLOW and similar) keep coming up: one vial with multiple peptides pre-mixed at a fixed ratio versus buying each compound separately. When does a blend make sense for research, and when is it a worse deal?

Run the math and blends are sometimes genuinely cheaper — the catch is flexibility, not price. Concrete example from our catalog:
Ascension's "Wolverine" blend (BPC-157 + TB-500, 20mg total): $105 → $52.50 with PEPTIDEPUB (50%), ≈ $2.63/mg.
Buying separately from the same lab: BPC-157 10mg $49 → $24.50, TB-500 5mg $54 → $27 (x2 for 10mg = $54) — so ~$78.50 for the same 20mg. The blend wins by ~$26 here.
When blends make sense:
- The ratio matches what your research design already called for
- You want fewer vials/reconstitutions
- The per-mg math actually beats separates (check — it often doesn't at other labs)
When separates win:
- You want to adjust compounds independently (the whole point of a titration)
- You want per-compound COAs — blend COAs can't always resolve each peptide's net content as cleanly
- You may drop one compound later
Our take: separates for a first pass, blends as a convenience once the ratio is settled. Blend options are listed on each peptide's price page (e.g. peptidepub.com/prices/bpc-157) under formulated products.
