The volume is a free choice — what you're really choosing is concentration. The math:
concentration (mg/ml) = mg of peptide in vial ÷ ml of BAC water added
Add 2ml to a 10mg vial → 5mg/ml, so each 0.1ml (10 units on a U-100 insulin syringe) contains 0.5mg. Add 1ml instead → 10mg/ml, and 10 units contains 1mg.
Two rules of thumb:
1. Pick a volume that makes your research measurements land on easy syringe numbers (avoid needing 3 units of an ultra-concentrated solution — measurement error gets big fast).
2. Small vials (5–10mg): 1–2ml is typical. Large vials (e.g. 50–100mg GHK-Cu or 500mg+ NAD+): more water, or the solution gets syrupy.
Practical example: 10mg TB-500 + 2ml BAC water = 5mg/ml; a 2mg research measurement is 0.4ml — clean and repeatable. Always add water slowly down the vial wall and swirl gently; never shake a peptide vial.
