TeamRetatrutide and sleep — is disrupted sleep showing up in research?

A recurring topic in retatrutide communities: reports of lighter or disrupted sleep, vivid dreams, and early waking during research. Is there anything in the published data, and what are others seeing?

What we can say responsibly:
Published data: in Lilly's Phase 2 trial (NEJM 2023), sleep disturbance wasn't a headline adverse event — GI effects dominated. But trial adverse-event tables under-capture subtle sleep changes, and Phase 3 (TRIUMPH) data is still maturing.
What communities report: lighter sleep, vivid dreams and early waking come up repeatedly in retatrutide discussions — more than for semaglutide or tirzepatide. Plausible mechanistic angle: retatrutide's glucagon-receptor agonism raises energy expenditure and can affect heart rate, and stimulant-adjacent effects on sleep wouldn't be surprising. Rapid caloric deficit itself also disrupts sleep independent of any compound.
So: not established in the literature, commonly reported anecdotally, mechanistically plausible. If it shows up in your research, it's worth logging timing relative to administration day — several reports suggest the effect clusters in the first 48h post-dose.
If you're comparing the triple agonist against tirzepatide for research, the price gap has narrowed a lot — current best is about $2.92/mg for reta (Ascension 30mg, $175 → $87.50 with PEPTIDEPUB) vs $1.63/mg for tirz. Live tables: peptidepub.com/prices/retatrutide.
